“The representation of man will always be a great parable of the artist”.
Oskar Schlemmer’s sentence and the human image created by Ballet Triádico serve as base to the show and propose a reflexion on the present human being and the projection onto the future. From ideas and aesthetics of the Bauhaus the ideal of the abstract forms in the body are recreated, as if in a laboratory of an ideal world composed by geometrical forms and colours.
WILLI DORNER lives and works in Viena. His work includes stage pieces and site-specific performances. Dorner is specially known for having his audiences to experience day-to-day experiences in a different way. He’s the author of the work Bodies in Urban Spaces, presented in more than 80 cities, where performers and dancers use city spaces to defy the notions of sculpture and encourage the reflexion on day-today spaces.
COMPANHIA INSTÁVEL, with its project in the Lugar Instável and with the support of the TMP, has developed an in-depth plan to encourage creators through a program that thinks and supports the choreographers and performers in their multiple phases and aspects. It is a development project of residences, artistic accompaniment, presentation and training.
